ABR 검사는 정신적, 신체적 상태나 약물, 의식정도, 진정제 마취제 등의 影響(영향)을 받지 않으며 피검자의 능동적 reaction(반응)이 불필요한 객관적 검사로, 신뢰도가 높아 출생직후의 유아나 소아, 주관적 청각검사가 불가능한 정신지체아, 비협조적인 환자 및 난청을 사칭하는 자의 청력 역치의 평가를 위한 검사로 임상적으로 가장 큰 호응을 얻고 있따3)
청력 역치의 평가를 위한 검사시 주된 자극음으로는 click, pure tone, wide band click, tone burst, tone pip 및 logon이 있으며, 실제 임상 적용에 있어서는 click을 주로 사용한다. click은 저주파수가 배제된 자연발생적인 고역잡음으로 주파수 characteristic(특성)은 없으나 생성시간과 지속시간이 짧아 청신경 뉴런…(skip)
